Description
This photograph was taken in Evanston Wyoming. It was first thing in the morning and I don't think they like the flash from my camera. The more pictures I took the more jumping around they did. It was really funny to watch such big birds act crazy.
The Sandhill Crane (Grus canadensis) is a species of large crane of North America and extreme northeastern Siberia. The common name of this bird references habitat like that at the Platte River, on the edge of Nebraska's Sandhills in the American Midwest.
