This photograph was taken in Ports O'Call, San Pedro California. Ports O'Call is lined with an intriguing, assortment of shops and an enticing selection of restaurants to discover as you wind your way down the brick pathway that follows the main channel of the Port of Los Angeles.

Initially I assumed this seagull had to be female. However, I later learned seagull offspring usually have brown or gray coloring. It can take as long as four years for seagulls fully develop into the adult coloration. So not all brown seagulls are female.
