Description
While driving to Wyoming, I saw this tree. It was amazing, so I thought I would share. This tree is also known as the "Utah Juniper." Itis a hardy small, shrubby tree that can grow as tall as 36 feet. The tree forms round crowns on lean stiff branches. The Utah juniper grows slowly, in rocky, low moisture soil, with lots of sun. The Utah juniper produces berries which are edible, attracting birds. The leaves are green with a scale like pattern. The bark is gray, dry, thin, uneven, rugged, rough and peels easily.

Love it! The jangled nerves calm down in the quiet solitude of your scene perfectly composed.
