Description
While in California for a visit, I walked along the peer in San Pedro at Ports O'Call. Each morning the pelicans and sea gulls come in and sit on the pillings, boats and other structures to wait for the fisherman to come in. Most of them just sat and allowed me to photograph them. This guy though took to doing a weird little strut in a circle as I walked up to him.

Donna, you do wonderful work and you have a massive collection. I am not nearly as productive as a oil and watercolor painter. i don't think I'm ready for your group. Bob

A grand display of pageantry no doubt, Donna! Fun to watch I am sure. Great capture and title. VF

Donna, Fantastic capture the details in this pelican are amazing and the clarity in this photo is remarkable. Love the great details in the pelican's feathers that you have created from the rear, along with that long neck and even the details on the pilings are so visible. Excellent blurring out of the background so the viewer could concentrate mainly on the Pelican, Excellent photo, voted, google, tweet and FB promoted
